Pray for Kim

My friend, Kim, the mother of eleven year old Caleb (see right) has surgery, this morning. Kim was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and had surgery, chemo and radiation. At the tail end of her treatment, in early 2008, her son was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. They have been fighting that monster for the past year. A couple of weeks ago Kim was diagnosed with colon cancer - separate from the breast cancer. She is only in her early forties. It does not appear to have spread but it is robbing her of time with her ailing son. Please keep the whole family in your prayers.

Oh, my gosh--what a lot to have on their plates! I know life's not fair, but this just...isn't fair.

Sending lots of prayers up.
