I ordered more yellow fabric to fix the corners of my paper pieced challenge quilt but the prednisone has kicked in and I am not thinking rationally, today. Instead of simply waiting several days and using nice, pristine whole pieces of fabric, I took a bunch of scraps and cobbled them into the size I needed. In truth, I kind of enjoyed doing it. The more I work with fabric and the more I understand how it "works," the more confident I am that I can fix what needs to be fixed.
Here is a reminder of what it looked like "before:"
And here is a comparison of a yellow corner and a blue corner:
Here is the end result. I am much happier with it:
I still have at least one more round to go but I don't know what the instructions are for that one.

You got it right!!! The yellow is perfect.
Oh yeah...it's looking wonderful!
Lovely!
You were right the yellow looks a lot better. Too bad the white with blue border didn't work, I wonder if it would have worked in differnt colors I liked the lay out of it.
Love, love, love the quilt. Looking really great! Glad you're starting to feel better.
