Caleb - RIP

My dear friend Kim's eleven year old son, an avid baseball player, has been battling a brain tumor. Kim had to go to the hospital, this morning, for emergency surgery related to the removal of her cancerous colon, last week. While she was in surgery, her darling Caleb slipped away and now plays ball in the big leagues.

Don't mean to be maudlin about it. I just feel so bad for this lovely family. Please remember Caleb's parents and three brothers in your prayers.

Oh, my.

The family has been in my prayers and will continue to be so.

So sad that she couldn't be with him.

Bless all their hearts. I just can't fathom the range of emotions they must be going through right now.

What a hard time for them all, and also for their friends who care. T & P's are with you and them.

I empathise(sp) with them. My 33 year old dau, who lives with me, has colon cancer which may have spread and two children, 4 & 11. May loose my second child. My prayers are with this family.

Quilting and blogs keep me going and are my outlet. Please keep this blog going because I read you at every opportunity, you are strong, and try to gather strength and carry on.
