Leaves and Song

Baby Pearl is filthy.

She has been playing out in the leaves and the leaf dust is clear to the skin. Much as I hate to do it since I know she will be right back out there, I have to consider bathing her. She snowplows through the leaves in the backyard and in places, they are over her head. She is having such a good time.

Without warning, Pearl charged up the stairs like she'd been doing it for years. Now we have to put the gate up on the deck stairs because she is so fast, she'll be up before we know what is happening.

Pearl got a clean bill of health from the vet, this weekend. She has gained more than five pounds in two weeks. She is eating like a horse.

No quilting in days. It may be awhile before I can get back in to my sewing room to actually quilt.

Minutes ago, Evelyn sua sponte launched into a song. We sang along with her (she has a lovely voice) and Pearl looked at all of us like she'd landed in the lunatic asylum.

Off to have a glass of wine.

Penny, Please enter the one of Pearl behind the tree in some kind of contest. It is a guaranteed winner. All of the photos are great, but that one is a classic.

Thanks, Charlie. I wouldn't have any idea where to enter it but I am just going to die from cute overload!

Cuteness overload would be an understatement! That is a lot of cute for just one little puppy. And you have 2 cuties. I'm jealous.

Look at that little rascal! I agree the first photo is adorable! I wonder how she'll do for her bath?!?! Could be interesting!

Does the glass of wine help you give Pearl her bath? Or just with the singing? :)

Janet, give me a glass of wine and I will sing and take my OWN bath!

Adorable. Love all the pics but especially the one of her peeking out from behind the tree.
