Longarm Quilting Templates

I got a call from the glass place this afternoon and my quarter inch Plexiglas templates were done. I went down to pick them up and they'd slashed the quoted price nearly in half and threw in an extra triangle. WOW! They seemed intrigued that I was using them to quilt. The circles, apparently, were a bear.

So now I have three circles of various sizes, two hexagons, a star, a 12 inch isosceles Triangle, a heart, a 7 inch isosceles Triangle, an equilateral triangle, a diamond and a Dresden plate dealie.

I'd say I definitely came out ahead by getting them custom made. I will remember them to my friends and neighbors.

Yahoo!!! Maybe they read your blog and saw that you expected it to be less. Anyway, it always makes my day when something costs less than I expect it to! Have fun playing!

Hello - found your blog looking for affordable templates. I couldn't find the earlier post and was just wondering if you had to make paper ones as a pattern, and what the final cost was... I know years later now. Also do you still use them or did you move onto ones that were already made? Thanks.
