Surf and Sand Block - Israel

Here is the fifth block for the HGTV Surf and Sand Challenge. I used a Carol Doak pattern from her Yahoo website. She created the block to celebrate the 4000th member of the group and calls it "Israel" (the Mariner's Compass Stars are named after countries).

I found it to be a little complicated and needed more contrast on some of the colors. Moreover, the center is not a tight as it should be. If I weren't tired, I'd rip some more and recenter it but I think I will just let it go.
