Tarka and Blind Willie Come for Another Visit

The girls had some gentlemen company that arrived last night.  Tarka
and Blind Willie

blew into town with their mom, Julia, following a two week trip to Taos.  They were on their way back home to Chicago and stopped for the night.

Blind Willie, as the name suggests, is completely blind but that doesn't slow down the big love bunny (he is over 90 pounds - half again as heavy as my girls).
He barks to participate in play and get back information to help him to navigate.
Or just for the love of singing out:
Tarka, the little scamp, weighs about 46 pounds and we call him the White Coyote:
He is a highstepper that practically walks on air.

Pearl was a wee bit intimidated by him but would ask him to play when they were out in the yard:
Evelyn was sweet to both the boys:
Pearl was more standoffish but Willie loved everyone:
That Tarka can fly:
Pearl wanted to be friends but was shy:
The boys came to visit about a year ago and I blogged about it.   Tarka was just this side of feral and has made great headway in the past year.  He still didn't want strangers near him but by this morning, was much more relaxed.  Willie, a giant of a dog, came to live with Julia after surviving on the streets in the dead of winter, completely blind, quite ill, only about half his current body weight and forced to scavenge for food.  Julia doesn't believe he was ever abused because he is such a lover who shows no fear of people.

It was a delight to see them and I am itching to throw the girls in the van and head up to Chicago to see them, again.

Happy Quilting, Penny, Evelyn and Pearl

this is how I showed up here - I was looking for Samoyeds to look at lol

We have one Sammy boy named Dexter, and he works in the woods with us as we own a Forestry Consulting business.

These pictures you took are sooo much fun!
