I quilted the baby quilt with a simple stipple on the borders and curly swirls in the center.
I have enough of the yellow to use for a binding but I may go with the dark blue. I am not sure I have enough of the light blue. What do you think?
Nothing at all fancy. I didn't quilt the hearts or the sash - just because, mainly.
Pearlie helped.I've been pondering what I want to do about work, recently. It doesn't pay much, but I might do some substitute teaching since that would allow me to be flexible and not tie up all my quilting time. Moreover, with the new baby coming, I want to be able to go to NYC to see him. I've actually considered getting re certified to teach (my undergrad is in education and I taught public school before going to law school). Regardless of what I do on that score, I need to get my training hours for the year to keep my Oklahoma law degree.
Today, after drawing class, I need to finish up a project for a gift exchange. I'll post photos in a few days. It is a mini nature quilt done in crazy quilt style. Crazy quilters are out of their minds, if you ask me. I created a block 13.5 inches wide but after it was quilted, it shrunk down to about 11.5. That is nuts.

One vote for dark blue! I love that this quilt has a vintage-look.
I also vote for the dark blue. The quilt is lovely by the way!
Dark blue binding, for sure.
Choices -- hmmmmmm. And that nagging thought about being responsible keeps creeping in, doesn't it? You sound happier now than back east, so my suggestion (for what little its worth) would be to maintain a balance that lets you stay that way.
