Summertime

I am so enjoying the hot summertime.

The summer flowers are in full bloom and they are bright and larger than life.

We've got bunnies coming out our ears.
Pearly is getting used to the hot Oklahoma weather:
I can see gorgeous summer sunrises nearly every morning:
A friend, Christine, made me this adorable purse:
Look at the amazing detail!

And this oh so delicate bookmark:
And pincushion:
Husband has been gone all week but should be back tonight.  Our tenth anniversary is this Sunday.

I'm making good progress on painting one of the rooms in the barn and enjoying life.

Happy Summer.

Let me be the first to wish you and hubby a very happy anniversary. I'm sure the girls would love to bring you breakfast in bed, if they could just figure out how!

Belated Happy Anniversary to you! And I can't believe how big Pearl is - I still remember the pictures you posted when she was a tiny fluffball. Now she's an elegant young lady....except when she's hunting toads! Smiles to you from Southern CA.
