Merry Christmas Eve!

Daughter #1 made it as far as half way to Oklahoma city on a flight from Houston before being turned back when the Oklahoma City airport closed.

Daughter #2 made it to about 12 miles from the house before the blizzard forced her to seek shelter in a motel.  TWELVE MILES FROM HERE!

Son drove from NYC, leaving at 1:00, yesterday.  He was forced to a motel due to the blizzard an hour away.

Thank god they are safe and sound.  Tomorrow will be better.  I have been a nervous wreck, today.

SOMEONE appreciated the snow:

Happy Quilting,

Penny, Evelyn and Pearl

Gotta love those northern-spitz-type dogs and their winter frolicking! :) My Pom, Foxy, loved the snow, too. I'm glad your children are all safe and sound.

:) Linda (spending too much time online today)

Thank you, Linda. They all sent pictures wearing big smiles, which brought smiles to me, too.

although your kids are safe, I know you won't be happy until they are with you, and Pearl will just about turn herself inside-out with excitement when they all arrive! Does Evelyn get to feel left-out do you think?

Me too. Glad that they are safe.

On our way to bed last night DH said that we wouldn't be getting any snow. I ssh'd him. Too late...not even a dusting.

We are too far south to have snowstorms...so a dusting is enjoyed every 5-10 years.

Hope they've made it in okay and that you can all be together. But, at least they're all safe.

You can have Christmas tomorrow--we are!
