I've been puttering around with the above design. It is a pretty common type of quilt but I wasn't exactly sure how to create it. I probably could have found a similar pattern in one of my quilt pattern books but I like to use EQ5 to design quilts. It is relaxing.
I usually print off a pattern with the measurements on it like this:

Unfortunately, I realized that I had miscalculated on measuring AFTER I'd cut out the fabric. Not to worry. I have enough and can adjust the pattern just a touch.
I also broke down and ordered a bunch of fabric, today. What was I thinking?
I'll post more pictures as things start to come together.

That quilt is going to be gorgeous. I love the fabrics you've chosen. If you find more fabric you want to order, have them ship it to me. I'll hold it for you until you're moved! ;0)

That is a great looking quilt!! You should upgrade to EQ6, it is really a better product!
