Mariners Compass Wallhanging

I finally got around to putting the binding on my Mariners Compass wall hanging.

I hung it on the stairway by the front door.

This project helped me to get past some of my arc angst. I hope the next one will be more professional.

Evelyn stayed with me while I put on the binding. She really likes hanging out with me in my sewing room.

I notice that the front-most star in this compass is skewed -- is this an artifact of your photo? Or, if not, did you do that for a reason?

Can you call me by chance??

Linda, I just liked the way it was tilted and put it that way when I put the background on it. I guess that is what you mean by skewed. Husband thought the front star should have be the one with the right angles but I preferred having the back one set it.

You did a really good job on your Mariner's Compass! My first quilt class I ever took was for a Mariner's Compass. The shop owner told me it would be easy. LOL!
